This instrument is a doshpuluur, a traditional stringed instrument originating especially from Tuva and Mongolia. This individual piece features three strings and a double-skin construction: both the soundboard and the back are made from goatskin, giving the instrument its distinctive, lively, and resonant tone with a subtly banjo-like character.

The neck and body are crafted from carefully selected flamed birch, chosen for both tonal quality and durability. Built with great attention to detail, this doshpuluur is suitable for folk music enthusiasts as well as demanding professional use.
